Hi my hotmail account was hacked...how can i deactivate
the account so the hacker is not able to use it?...plz let
me know....alot is at stakes!!! thank u

You have to change your password in your hotmail account. When you change your password hotmail askes you for a question that only you have the answer to. So you have to find a difficult question that only you no the answer for. Hope to have helped you.

Assuming you can't actually get into the account, I'd try resetting your Passport/Hotmail
password here if possible (assuming the information hasn't been changed):

When you send your notice, do it from the alternate e-mail
you originally specified in the Hotmail account, send your
notice of intent regarding your hotmail account's security
violation at once. Also you can contact the FBI Internet
Fraud complaints department online through
http://www.fbi.gov/ if you are seriously concerned.
