While trying to access my Database, I'm getting the following error
" The Microsoft Jet Database Engine could not find the object 'MSysDb'. Make
sure the object exists and that you spell its name & path name correctly.

I need help to open this Data base. Urgent help is needed.

Sorry, but it sound like your MDB is corrupted.
I hope you have a back up for that mdb, if not, create a BackUp, and then
try to create a new mdb and import the objects from the old mdb, I'm not sure
that it will work.
If no success there are some database recovery services available that may
be able to recover your database for a fee.

Fayyaz Ali,

The quickest fix is to use a copy of your most recent backup database
file.

Another fix is to submit your database file to a recovery service.
Google "Recovery Service MS Access".

Another participant in the newsgroup may also be along shortly to
offer such a service directly.

You have a corrupt database - MSysDb is one of Access' concealed systems
tables, which are essential to the structure of the database.

If you've been very careful, you'll have a current backup. If not, you now
know why current backups are considered essential... :-{(

If you're VERY lucky, you may be able to create a new, emtpy database and use
File... Get External Data... Import to import (at least some) data or other
objects from your database.

Check the references at

for some causes, prevention, and cures of database corruption, and... good
luck!
