#URGENT CHALLENGE: HOW TO PRODUCE A LIST OF TOTAL DIFFERENT RANDOMNUMBERS ONES OF THE OTHERS IN EXCE

HOW TO PRODUCE A LIST OF TOTAL DIFFERENT RANDOM NUMBERS ONES OF THE
OTHERS IN EXCEL 2003?
It will be possible, in Excel 2003, to create a list of random data (5
numbers of 1 to 50) that they are different between itself (the order
does not matter), without never happening again itself? Forgive my
ignorance but the maximum that I obtained was to produce for
increasing order 5 numbers of the list, but the problem is that, in
this way, the random values tend to be distinguished for maximum
values (for former. 40, 47, 48, 49, 50).What, supposedly, it was not
the intended objective.
What I wanted is that, Excel 2003, produces a random list, being able
to be without defined order, with 5 different and independent numbers
between itself (for former.: 18, 4, 23, 3, 31) and that they are not
happened again (for former.: 4, 4, 15, 16, 15).

Who knows the solution for this problem, please, help me.
I am thankful for your attention,
Ricardo Machado

ps: Sorry for the bad English, but it was translated with an

Hi,

In the spreadsheet enter your 50 numbers, say 1 in cell A1 and 2 in A2, then
select both and drag the fill handle down to row 50, this will give you 50
numbers.

In cell B1 enter the formula =RAND()
Fill this down to row 50
Sort both columns with column B as the sort column.

Take the first 5 entries. This is as close to random as you will get and
they are non-repeating.
