urgent - cant get my hard drive partitions open

after a virus issue in my computer which was later cleaned - now i cant get
my drives C-D-E open by just clicking on to them - i have to go thru a step
in which i have to choose one of the programs to open the file - as it sayz.i
click internet explorer to proceed and to open my hard drive partitions - but
i cant get away with this issue - can you help - i tried reinstalling the
windows but the problem persists.
