Uploaded files to to new folder, not to root? How to avoid?

When I upload a file using either FrontPage or FTP, it creates a new folder
under the root on the host. I then have to go and manually move the files to
the root.
Is there a way to change settings in FrontPage to avoid this happening?

I always open the file remotely w/ FP by clicking on OPEN SITE under File,
then typing in the URL: http://www.yoursite.com . You'll be prompt for your
remote UN & PW at that point. Once logged in I goto VIEW and select FOLDER
LIST. At the top of the list if you open your site my way you'll see
http://www.yoursite.com . Or if you open it on your PC it will be something
like C:/documents/website/etc..etc..

Whichever it is, click on it once to highlight it, and while its highlighted
when you click on the vanilla folder icon to the right of it (roll over alt
text reads Add Folder) it will add the folder directly to the root at which
point you can the name it.

Hope thats what you were looking for.

If you are using FP for FTP upload see
