Upgrading to XP

Hi,
I have an IBM Thinkpad 380ED that currently has
Windows 98 as the operating
system. I want to upgrade to Windows XP and I was wanting
to know if I might
encounter any problems with hardware recognition. I have
heard that the
PCMCIA slots aren't always recognized. Is that a real
problem that I need to
be concerned with and is there a fix for it?

Check with the laptop maker for upgrade info and to get the XP drivers.
