Upgrading to XP

I'm upgrading from W2kPro to XP pro and after the first reboot the
screen is black and just sits there. is there any type of log file that
is created that would tell me what it is trying to do?

Did you verify the compatibility of ALL of your hardware prior to starting
the upgrade?

Specifically.. your video card???
