While updrading ny other system to Windows XP
Proffessional, Windows is in the install process. I ge a
error dialog box:
Unregmp2.exe - Entry point not found.
The procdure entry point Getiums could not be located in
the dynamic link library MSDART.DLL

I click OK but nothing happens, the dialog box is still
there. What should I do??

Here's what you do:
when the error comes up (presumably at 13mins remaining)
hit SHIFT+F10
this will open command prompt
type: taskmgr.exe
task manager will open
end the unregmp2.exe application
there may/may not be a process listed for it as well, i
apologize i can't remember.
It happens when you upgrade or repair install XP with
media player 9 installed.
The install tries to unregister media player 8 files, and
basically craps on itself because it doesn't find the
right versions of the files.
hope this helps

Thank you! (Shift-F10 to open TaskMgr? On well).
