Upgrading Internet Explorer

I am using Internet Explorer 5 and I noticed that Microsoft
has Internet Explorer 6 sp1 available. If I download the
latest version, will it automatically upgrade my IE or do I
need to get my hands on IE 6 with the service pack?

I'm wondering if IE 6 sp1 is a bug fix only release or
whether it is a full product release.

Get IE updates/upgrades and other important security patches via Windows
Update. Disable your anti-virus application and close all other running
programs before going to Windows Update.

Windows Update will offer you IE6-SP1, which you will have to
download/install before getting other updates.
