I have Vista running on a laptop that is very rarely connected to the net. I
have noticed that even when it is not connected it will 'install upgrades',
last night spending a good 15 minutes doing so before I was allowed to shut
down.
If these upgrades were downloaded at a previous online session, why does it
wait for an offline session to install them?
