Upgraded to XP from 98, lost Office

Guest

I upgraded to Windows XP from 98 yesterday and all of my Office 2000 programs
were lost (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). I can still get to the
program files for Office by going through My Computer and C:/, but I don't
have a disc to re-install Office anymore. How can I get it back??? I also
don't have my license number since it was with the disc.

Thanks to anyone who can help me!!

What do you mean by 'Lost Office'? Did you reformat? If so then you will
need the disc to reinstall. Are the Office files still present on the hard
drive? In which case you may be able to get away with recreating shortcuts
to the exe files. If this doesn't work you'll have to recover your disc or
obtain another from e.g. eBay. I believe Microsoft is no longer supplying
Office 2000 replacements.
