Upgraded to Office 2007 - Outlook won't configure at start up

I haverecently updated from Office 2003 to Office Enterprise 2007. After this
update I have been having trouble with Outlook. When I start Outlook the
configuration starts with transferring account information etc. from the
previous version. This freezes the program, and nothing happens. I then stop
the program via the job list and restart i safe mode. This changes nothing.
Since updating I have not had acces to Outlook. Can anyone help me?

Start off with a clean mail profile. This is highly recommended after an
upgrade.

In addition, you might want to reset your outcmd.dat and extend.dat files as
well.
