Upgraded from win98 to XP, Now NO MSword

I recentley upgraded from win98 to win xp and now I dont have any office
programs mainly MSword. Does anyone know how to get it back? Befor I up
graded I backed up my WHOLE computher on an external harddrive and I have
word on it but when I try to open it it says "word has not been instaled for
this user please reinstall" but I do not have the installer disk.. I have the
files I see them there but where can I get the instaler files? any help

1. We don't do personal replies. That defeats the purpose of a public
newsgroup. Someone else might be wondering the same thing you are.

2. You need to buy Office. If you had it before you either paid for it or
you had an illegal copy. Since I'm sure you would *never* allow illegal
software on your computer, then I have to assume you lost your disks. You
may want to start looking for them because without them, you will not have
Office. I know that's not the answer you were hoping for but we don't always
get what we want. I want summer but since it's ~16ºF outside right now, I'm
more disappointed than you. :-(
