upgrade win2000 schima to win2003 Adprep /forestprep No working?

Hi guys i have win2000 ADV and i trying to add some win2003 as a New domain
in a existing Tree so i know that i need to upgrade the schima from the
win2003/i386/adprep.exe /forestprep but thats what i get when i try to run
the adprep.exe /forestprep :

Adprep requires access to existing forest-wide information from the schema

r in order to complete this operation.

Check the log file, Adprep.log, in the
C:\WINNT\system32\debug\adprep\logs\20020
111135657 directory for more information.

Hi David,

Here's one thing you can check. One the DC that is the schema master check
the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Ntds\Parameters
Verify that the value is 1. If not edit the value and change to 1.
