At 58%, completing installation I get a error saying upgrade could no be
completed

I have no idea what the error messages mean, sorry. What were you
upgrading from? You have enough disk space? Have you tried a clean
install on that machine? (I see lots of grumbling here about upgrades
failing while clean installs are okay on the same machine...)
