Upgrade to Pro

I am running XP Home. I was told that I can Upgrade to XP
Pro by installing the latest XP Pro upgrade. Can I do
this or do I have to get the complete version? If I need
to get the complete version, how do I install it? Do I
wipe out the Home version?

Yes, you can upgrade from Home to Pro using the WinXP Pro upgrade
version. No you don't have to wipe your
Home version.

You wont have problems getting retailers to sell you
the pro xp,but why.Unless you do encription type messages
or a few odd deployments,pro wont offer anything new.
The latest xp pro upgrade is merly another copy of the
xp cd,the full version is just that.Save youre money
for other microsoft add-ons,most office applications
run fine in xp,word,visio,publisher,etc..Installing
any of those will see a benifit to xp.
