ok Christmas time. Im looking to upgrade my graphics card (NVIDIA GeForce 3 Ti 200

) and I want/need a new motherboard (no idea what I have now, its a ooolllddd DELL machine(Dell Dimensions XPS T800r)
I want to upgrade as I want to play games with good graphics and still run smoothly.
Im looking to spend around £200. If there is anything else I might need please say so..

As Mucks said, your gonna need more than £200 as you need more than just a new graphics card and motherboard - your gonna need a new processor, RAM and probably a new power supply etc.
Frankly your looking at a whole new system rather than just an upgrade...:(

what mucks is trying to say, is that you will pretty much have to buy a new system trying to upgrade it

If you want to play the newer games out your going to need a whole new machine basicly. You wont be able to use your current motherboard, processor or memory because its just way too out dated.

You should be looking at an Athlon 64 system to be gaming and be able to keep it for a year or 2 ;).

oh ... you can only play a few Windows games though.
