Upgrade or what ? :(

Hi all ~!

Erm I had run the Upgrade advisor and it says that my comp can run Vista .
"Base on our scan of your system , Vista home basic appears to be the best
edition for you , so can i upgrade to Utimate ? And can i just buy an OEM
version which is much cheaper and install it ? The OEM Vista does not contain
the manual ,which i don't mind . I am abit confused about versions so any
suggestion ? I am a home-user Retail , Upgrade or OEM ??? Pls explain it
to me abt the Retail and OEM ...

Sounds like your PC is barely capable of running Vista, I would
reconsider leaving well enough alone. As to OEM that is a "clean
install" that means you will wipe everything off the PC and start over.

Post your question to the Vista.general newsgroup. Give the specs on the
computer and ask what would run ok on it. You'll get plenty of advice.
