Upgrade 2007 disk say Outlook Unavailable. What's up?

Running XP MCE on a Dell. My HD crashed and I reinstalled my 2003 Office and
then tried to install my 2007 Upgrade. Everything installed except for
Outlook 2007 which Office 2007 install says is unavailable. How can that be?

Which version of Outlook 2007 Upgrade do you have.

Also you did not need to install Office 2003. You could have started the Office 2007
installation and then when it asked for a qualifying Office product then you just
needed to put the Office 2003 in the CD\DVD ROM as proof for the Upgrade

Peter, that is actually what I did...started with 2007 Professional Upgrade
and put the 2003 disk in when prompted. It installed 2003 Outlook. When i try
to run the 2007 Upgrade again, it says Outlook is not available.

When you were installing Office 2007 Pro did you select Custom install and checked
Outlook to be installed? You can have only 1 (one) instance of Outlook installed at
any one time.
I suggest that you remove Outlook 2003 and then from your 2007 Office Pro install
Outlook.
