updating subform by combo selection

I have form with subform. On the subform I have combo box to select items.
There are several other items on the subform for which I enter data. If I use
the subform navigation all records are changing properly. What I want is to
update the subforms item after changing combo box. I have tried many
different options on After Update event but I can not have it working. How it
should be done ?

Hi Stefan,

Thank you for your response.

After change of selection in the combo box I would like subform to update to
display record matching selection if this record has data or add new record
for data entry if it has not. I hope it is clear.
