Updating definition on home network PCs

I would like to try out Windows Defender at home. I have a small network and
only a dial up connection. Is there a way I can download defintion updates on
one PC and then push those updates to the others (or copy them)? I cannot use
WSUS because I do not have that at home.

Steve--definitions will come in via AutoUpdate--This may not absolutely most
efficient method, but I think you can simply ignore the update process--how
do AutoUpdates work for you now?

This seems to be exactly what I was looking for. Apparently you do not
actually have to extract the .MSP file from the .EXE, just simply running the
..EXE file will update the defnitions. In any case, I now have it installed on
3 machines and two of the machines are updating using this method. Thanks
Engel.

Now all I need to do is automate it all. :p
