Updating album covers in WMP11

In the WMP11 library, sometimes when I update an album folder in explorer,
it fails to update in the WMP library. I have tried to add the folder again,
but it seems to read it very quickly and again does not update this.

How can I update this?

Use Media Monkey to tag individual files instead of the folder.jpg album
art.

Are you naming the updated image as Folder.jpg? I don't see any reason that
could not work.

The only thing is, when you play your tracks you'll see any embedded image,
and in fact the first embedded image marked as front cover, in the file
instead of Folder.jpg. Folder.jpg only has priority when viewing the album
in the library. When playing, the embedded art has priority.

So, if you're still seeing old album art, it is because you have embedded
album art. Use Advanced Tag Editor - one file at a time - to get rid of it.
If you open multiple files at a time in ATE, it won't show the embedded
images.
