updates keep updating

Hi,we have XP SP2, and find that each time I use my laptop I get a message
telling me to instal security updates MSXML 925672 and KB 927978...these
are downloaded and installed each day and a search of the pc shows that they
are installed (pc is rebooted as requested, but I have also tried not
rebooting), but each day when I use the laptop the same 'instal security
update' message comes up...how can I rectify this please?
any help gratefully accepted...thanks

Have a look at other posts with the word "Updates" in the Subject
line. Someone else asked the same question only a few hours ago.
