Updates for Windows Live Toolbars 3.0

Since yesterday Friday the 5th when my computer got in an automatic update
the "Update for Window's Live Toolbar 3.0 (KB926307)", I cannot shut down my
computer without getting the following dialog box

"End Program - WDS_SL
This Program is not Responding.
To Return to Windows and check the Status of the Program, click
cancel....(etc.)"

I am getting it all the time. The dialog stays there until I "End" it
manually.

How to fix this?
Is this a question for this Newsgroup, or for
"public.internetexplorer.general"?

I resolved this issue with the manual downloading and installation of
Windows Desktop Search V3, which Napatsfan in his response to my post of
1/9/2007 guided me as to the address of where to get the download.
