Updates for Outlook 2003

Having problems in installing the following updates which have been
downloaded OK:-

Internet security for Outlook 2003 (KB892843)
Update for Outlook 2003 Junk email filter (KB911961)

Other updates download and install Ok for Windows & Office products.

Any ideas?

Are you trying to get this update through Windows Updates or through the
Office Update page?

I believe it was through the Windows updates (automatically advised when
there updates to be downloaded and installed).

I had exactly this problem. Go to the Office Update page and try it from
there. that worked for me.

Thanks for the info. I have now successfully installed the above filter
after speaking to Microsoft Tech Support (free call), allegedly I needed the
source CD in to pick up the original CAB file to initiate the install
process. I had to manually download the file, insert original CD and then
run it. It nows shows in my control panel that it is installed.
