Updates for free

I have Norton Antivirus, which came with my computer. I tried to update the
virus definition list the other day, and it told me I needed to update my
subscription. I clicked on renew, but I didn't actually update the
subscription. However, in the update definitions window, I clicked on next
when it asked me did I update. It then appeared to download the new
definitions, and now Norton is telling me that my subscription is up to
date. Has is just been fooled into thinking this, or did I get a free
update? Has this happpened to anyone else? Please write back. Thanks.

How long before your last update?
Maybe you could look in the "virus list" in the
AV control panel for an entry for Swen.

Did it just say that all your products were up to date, or did it actually
download and install the definitions?

It seemed to download the definitions. And yes, I had the swen virus the
other day, but they were deleted automatically by Norton Antivirus. Would
this have been too late? Could the cause of all this be the swen virus. I
f**king hate virus's . Please help me!!
