When I try and visit the Microsoft update sight I can
connect to the opening page but when it tries to scan my
system I get the following message:

[Error number: 0x80245003]

Windows Update has encountered an error and cannot

Change newsgroup to microsoft.public.windowsupdate
They know everything about Windowsupdate.
