Unlocker v1.6.4


Overview :

"Cannot delete Folder: It is being used by another person or program.
Close any programs that might be using the file and try again." Ever
had such an annoying message given by Windows? It has many other
flavors: "Cannot delete file: Access is denied", "There has been a
sharing violation.", "The source or destination file may be in use.",
"The file is in use by another program or user. Make sure the disk is
not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use."
Unlocker is the solution! Simply right click the folder or file and
select Unlocker. If the folder or file is locked, a window listing of
lockers will appear. Simply select the lockers and click Unlock and you
are done!

What's New:

- Due to popular demand, I have added support for other languages.
Unlocker is now available in Chinese (Simplified), English, French and
Japanese

It´s a real helpful program. And easy to handle. Mostly I will
work with it under WIN 98 SE; WIN 2k Prof. don´ t need it for an
often time. The self-repair by WIN 2k seems to be a paragon and
isn´t reached with the "Penguin", I think.

In it you cannot find any spyware "adAware SE Personal" and
"SpyBot 1.4" says after an precise analyze.

This seems to be an essential program. I've downloaded it and will test it
later.

One problem. The home page is partly obscured by a string of Google ads on
the left hand side, which I could not remove. These ads normally appear on
the right and are removable with an X button. This is the first time I've
seen them on the left and without a way to delete them. Is there any program
around specifically to prevent these ads appearing, or to remove them if
they do?

Don't know your browser Frank, with Firefox & the extension
Adblock, right clicking on the ad & going down to the bottom of
the popup window, then clicking on Adblock, you can set it to keep
the Google ad closed .

I do see this trying to delete files with XP, but I've found I can cut
and paste to the recycle bin every time. Wierd.
