update sysprep.ini

How can I change the sysprep.ini file after I load an ghost image. I
recently got a new system that has SATA hard drives, but none of my sysprep
images have the proper mass storage drivers.

What I want to do is load the ghost image and then change the sysprep.ini
file to include the mass storage drivers for the SATA drive. How can I
update this file without having to clone a new system? Can I insert a
floopy during boot process or do I need to use a winPE?

Thanks
Andrew

If your image is "saved" with Fat32 formatting you should be able to use
Ghost Exporer to edit the image. You can add or delete files and folders
with Ghost Explorer.

I always keep two image versions, one that is syspreped for production and
one that is non-syspreped for updates like the one you mention.

I have had good success with using this product to build a bootable cd
(http://www.windowsubcd.com/) from this environment you have access to the
network and RW to the filesystem. You can bring down the image and then boot
with the CD. The OS on the drive nevers loads and Sysprep never intitiates.
Then you save the modified image as a new ghost file.

I still can not figure out how to load SATA drivers with sysprep. I am
getting STOP 0x7b. Can someone tell me how to load the drivers with sysprep?

Thanks Andrew
