DVD43Free is a small, free tool that integrates into
Windows XP/2000 and overrides DVD-Video copy-protection
and DVD Region limitations.

20 Jul, 2005 - 3.6.1
arccos code updated

4 May, 3.5.3
Version 3.5.3 now removes bad sectors that were
purposely put on new DVDs to prevent copying.
Movies like 'Resident Evil', 'Little Black Book',
'The Grudge', and 'The Forgotten' are protected
with bad sectors. Version 3.5.3 is more stable
than 3.5.2 and has better bad sector detection,
which fixes problems on earlier versions which
caused some movies to loose chapters or parts
of the DVD.

If this is as good as AnyDVD, it's a bad motor scooter, IMO.
I downloaded a copy of DVD43Free a few months ago but haven't tried it
since I'm already using AnyDVD.<Payware>
This kind of proggy/DLL or which ever it is classified will turn your
box into an on the fly decrypter and allow you to use any copy program
to rip the DVD. AnyDVD,DVD Decrypter and now DVD43Free are the only
decrypters that I know of that will handle that bad sector
protection.<Sony> May be some others by now ?
I can split a DVD 9 into two (or more) DVD 5 w/ AnyDVD and CloneDVD2
and keep menus/extras etc...at 100% quality <all payware>
DVD43Free should most certainly be nice for DVD Shrink as it will not
handle the new Sony protection...< all freeware> :)
Thanks for the heads up, CoMa
