uPCI card and PCI-X slot

We have a server with 4 PCI-X slots and are looking to buy a fax card
for it. The card we found is uPCI (universal). Will the uPCI work in
a PCI-X slot?

Thanks.

OK, if you've used the terms correctly, then the card you found is a
half-height PCI card (will work in a regular PCI slot). But PCI-X is an
entirely different format. To make matters even more confusing, PCI-X has
nothing to do with PCI-Express! -Dave

On one web page, the uPCI term seems to imply "universal PCI
3.3V or 5V operation". Your PCI-X server slots probably have
a key in the PCI-X slot for 3.3V operation, so a universal PCI
card should fit in there. The card depicted here has slots
for both 3.3V and 5V.
