I am getting a number of unwanted popups

eg
www.virtual-free.com
www.free-savings
www.deal-mobile.com/normal/XBCYINT.html
www223.paypopup.com
www.coupon-online
www213.paypopup.com
http://ad.firstadsolution
www.deal-nation.com/normal/yyy65.html
www.searc-h.com/normal/yyy65.html
www.starware.com

Another is "Do you want to install and run "VIRUS FREE. CLICK ON "YES"
in order TO accept the terms and conditions of use. The
connection will be immediate. The program will terminate
the connection with your ISP, and will connect to our
server giving full access to the restricted area! The cost
of the service is simply the cost of international phone
call. NOW CLICK ON "YES" and enjoy our Value Added
CONTENTS!" signed on an unknown date and distributed by:

R.S. RomanService di Ionel Sabadac"

I have tried numerous anti virus and spyware remover programs but with no success

I have tried

Norton AV 2005
F-Prot v 3.16
Microsoft AntiSpyware
MalwareSweeper
Spyware Doctor
PopUp Stopper
Ccleaner
Ewido

Can someone help me to eliminate these unwanted popups?

Thank you

RomanService is a dialer, hopefully it hasn't downloaded but you need to check:

Name:7AdPowerRisk Level:
threat_medium.gif
Description:7AdPower is a dialer program that is used to access premium-rate services. It can automatically log on to 'http://www.7adpower.com/autentica.asp?login=' when an internet connection is available.Type:dialerBy:R.S. RomanService di Ionel SabadacAlso known as:Dialer-226 [McAfee] Trojan-Clicker.Win32.Adpower.N [Kaspersky] Removal:This infection can be removed using Spyware Doctor.

All the others pop-ups look like spyware and I'm surprised that the programs you've already tried haven't cleaned them out.

However try Ad-aware and Spybot Search&Destroy as well, and once clean install SpywareBlaster which gives additional real-time protection.

I fear you may have too much on your system that these programs can deal with, and it may be that you will have to use a HijackThis log and send to a specialist forum for analysis and help.

If the infections are too numerous, it is often just better to bite the bullet and do a OS re-install, then make sure your protection levels are adequate in the future.
