Unwanted Network adapters

Running: XP Pro SP2; IE 7; Firefox 3.5.2

These appeared in Device Manager 2 or 3 days ago. I do not
recognize these nor do I know what called to install them.

The only new programs installed/unistalled has to do with
BartPE Builder and plugins:

http://www.paraglidernc.com/

Googling to remove these adapters found an old blog shows
monkeying within the registry, surely there is a safer way...

1. How to identify the program that called to install the adapters?

2. How to safely uninstall the adapters?
