unwanted logon and password

hi there, if anyone can help, my child accidently made a logon password and
now when i start my computer it goes straight to logon...... but of course
she cannot remember the password..so now i cant use my computer.......is
there anyway to bypass the logon screen so i can get rid of user????

G'Day jagforde,

You will need to log on with username 'Administrator'.

(For Windows Xp Home, you must boot to Safe Mode to do this)

The Administrator password is usually left blank (i.e. no password)
during installation - unless you have subsequently changed it.
