060425 unwanted IE Right Click Menu item
Hi, I have a menu item for a undesired weblink, added to IE window
right-click menus. Is there a way to remove that? thanks

Hi nastech,

Open the Registry Editor, and navigate to ->

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\MenuExt

In the the left pane, under the expanded MenuExt key, select the key that
corresponds to to the context menu that you want to remove (give or take an
ampersand, it will be the same spelling as the context menu item),
right-click and choose delete. Restart Internet Explorer.

Of course, an "unwanted IE Right Click Menu item" may be indicative of
spyware/adware problems that just deleting this registry key may not fix.

Hope this helps,
Dean
