unwanted font changes

In Windows Explorer, I have a folder called MY Text into which I have created files using Notepad. My problem is that if I change the font or font size in any one of the files it changes ALL the files in the folder to the same font and sizes. Is there an easy fix?

No.

If you change any of the font settings in Notepad, you change all of the
settings for any .txt files.

You can try using Wordpad. With Wordpad you can even change the font and
font size within one file or document. I.e. you can have every word in a
different font or font size.

You all ready have Wordpad on your machine.

Start | Run | Type: wordpad | Click OK.

Or...
Start button | All Programs | Accessories | WordPad

Or you can try some of the free replacements for Notepad that you can find
searching with Google.

Lewis,

I use Notepad a lot and I learned the hard way about the fonts settings.

I see that it is documented.

"NOTE: The next time Notepad is used, it will use the most recently used
font."

Here's a tip for starting Wordpad in the font that you prefer.
