Unwanted addition in "Tools" tab on IE Menu Bar

I am running Windows 98SE, and have Internet Explorer 6.0

When I click on the "Tools" tab of the Internet Explorer
menu bar, there is a selection that lists itself
as: "?????? ??????? ??????". When I click on this "link,"
it takes me to a web site called "hitboss.com" It is not
a pleasant or welcome web site, and I wish to get rid of
this link from my IE menu. I even tried to block the web
site in the "Security" tab of my "Internet Options"
window, listing hitboss.com as a restricted site. Nothing
has worked.

I suppose I can just ignore this "??????..." menu
selection, but I was wondering if anyone out there has
encountered a similar problem, or discovered a way of
getting rid of such trash. Please respond.

To remove the Tools menu entry, you may use ToolbarCop:

You *must* eliminate the parasites, though.

Download all of these utilities and scan the system.
