that wont remove after unstalling C-Media sound driver from Microsoft

Are you still having problems with the C-Media driver? If the only
component of the software that was left is the control panel icon you
might be able to simply run a search for the icon and remove it. To do
this you would do a search for all files named *.cpl and look at the
list that comes up. You may not recognize the file at first because you
will only see file names. If you open one of the files in the list, the
corresponding control panel window will open. Look for the item that
might correspond to the C-media sound software. If you are not sure try
to open it, and it should give you an error telling you the software
could not be found. You should be able to simply delete this file.
Alternatively you could just rename it so it does not show up, this way
you will still have the file just in case you need it.

You can remove that unused icon through TweakUi.Down and install TweakUi.

or,
Start>Run>Regedit>ok
Navigate to
Hkey_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current ControlSet\Control
Panel>Cpls
Look in the right pane for an entry and delete
it.

I have cleaned up the registry and reinstall Nvida drivers 15 times for the
past week. This approach has not worked so far.

Make sure that "Nforce Audio" is chosen under Sounds and Audio Devices
(Sound Playback). It could be that your headset/microphone, if you have one,
is listed instead.

Did 100% clean up very carefully, rebooted to no sound, then C-Media
reinstalled itself.

Please give me a better idea.

You did NOT do as I said. I have seen this problem before, and have in fact,
experienced it myself on my A7N8X Deluxe ver. 2 motherboards after loading
new drivers. It was an easy fix. You have to make sure that the Sound
Playback Audio Sound Device is set for Nvidia Nforce Audio. You have to also
go to the advanced tab and make sure your speakers are chosen correctly.

It is a likely configuration issue, and only you can see exactly what your
sound configuration is and then determine what to do to make it correct.
