I have recently started getting "unsafe eject" messages
for my generic DVD+/-R drive. I have CD-R/RW and DVD
burners internally mounted and am not attempting to stop
or eject the devices -- the message shows up on its own.
Also, the system is running very slowly and I get an empty
window when I click on MyComputer.
I have an AMD 800mhz w/W2K SP4 and 256MB RAM, and
everything has been fine until now. I wiped the hard
drive and did a clean install, and the problem persists.
I'd appreciate any ideas, thanks in advance.
