Unreconized database format

Hi All
I created a database Helpdesk in 2000 have now upgraded to 2002 when I try
to open the Database I get the error message unreconized Database format
helpdesk.mdb
The file still has the access icon & the file name.mdb
any ideas appreciated

This message commonly appears when someone attempts to open a "newer" Access
database with an "older" version of Access. Or, if the database is
corrupted, Access may not be able to recognize it.

Have you tried opening it with both newer and older versions of Access?

Have you tried opening the "older" version of the db?

Do you have BACKUPS!?!
