Unread message count in Public folders (new post)

I've read the previous thread on this subject, however I don't want to copy
all the folders to my Public Folder Favorites (as was the previous
suggestion) since they are too large.

So is there any of getting the count next to the folders?

Many thanks

You do not copy the folders to Public Folder Favorites but only create a
shortcut,
so there should be no problem with their size.

Hi Roman,

I'm not totally convinced that you are right - I am working on a server some
way from my machine and I have colleagues working in another country from the
server, but even when I am not connected to the server I can view and alter
the items in favourites - which then synchronises the next time I connect.
So surely there must be a local copy?

Is there really no way to create the (unread) message count in public folders?
