unlock

I some how locked my entire words application and I don't know how to unlock
it. When I try to type in the new word document, I get a message at the
bottom saying " this modification is not allowed because the selection is
locked". Can anyone help me with this.. I would really appreciate any
help..Thank You

Have you activated the software? Are you using a trial version that has
passed its "use-by" date?
