unknown search engine

I was doing some research when I opened a site that popped
up a huge menu of junk that I had to use Task Manager to
shut down, along with Explorer. Since then, I have a new
search engine whenever I try to search something. I've
already tried to adjust settings, repair the program, and
reinstall the program. Does anyone know how to get an
unwanted search engine removed? It isn't listed under
browser preferences and I can't find a name. If I try to
search something with it, the search page says Powered by
jetseeker.com at the bottom, however, I can't find this
lame website. I'M REALLY ANNOYED and tired of wasting my
time trying to get rid of this thing.

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.
