Uninstalling Search Server 2008 Express

Couldnt find anywhere else to post this so... here it is lol :

I have uninstalled SharePoint Services 3.0 (on Server 2003), and now I want to uninstall Search Server 2008 Express, but I am having great difficulty

I've tried Add/Remove Programs to remove it, I go through the wizard to uninstall it. A message box then appears to say that it has been sucessfully
uininstalled. But when I look on Add/Remove Programs and on the Start menu,
it is still there!! AAAARRRGHHHH!!!!!

Try using something like Windows Installer Clean up Utility..that should do the trick for you..Also goto program files and make sre anything related to the program you have uninstalled has been dleted, if not go ahead and delete

Failing that you usually can use a extension to force the uninstall of a service / application.
