UNINSTALL WON'T WORK!

HELP. Recently installed Quicken2004DLX. Worked fine
but recently received a "corrupted file" msg - asked to
reload from disc - tried but told must uninstall
original. That would not work. Intuit sent me to a MS
uninstall "fix" but when queried "page is not
available". HELP -getting behind in my finances. TDH

What error message did you get when trying to uninstall Quicken? Which MS web page did you get the error message from?

Will: Thanks for the response. I was on the phone with
Microsoft for over an hour and a half and they cut me off
at 1800Z eastern. I got a new disc from Quicken to
update to Q2004DLX and when I tyried to load it I was
told to go to the settings , in Q, unload. Thjis I did
but the only reaction was a green line moving across my
screen for about 2 seconds. (I doubted that anything had
happened.) I tried to reload and got the same message.
Spent some time on the phone w/Intuit who told me that MS
had a fix for the problem at ..... went there and "the
Page you requested is not available." I contracted for
$35 assistance and talked (and tried to unserstand) and
Indian lady who put me on hold until I was cutoff. I am
76 yrs old and not the brightest bulb on the block but I
need help as I am getting behind in finances that for
several years has been a blast!! Thanks again. TDH

I have the same problem. I hope someone has a "fix." Please post the cure if there is one. I am not a rocket scientist but can understand printed English.
