Uninstall Vista

Excuseme for my english, it isn't very well. How can I reinstall windows xp
in my computer? I have a Laptop Compaq Presario V3017LA, It didn't come with
a Windows XP CD, It has a Recovery System's Partition in D: but I can't
access to it from Windows Vista, I Upgrade XP to Vista and I have just one
Operating System (Windows Vista now), I hope you answer my question. See you

Follow the recovery instructions that came with your computer when it
was new.

Insert the CD and do a clean install. Choose the option that does not offer
to upgrade. You won't be able to use this option anyway if Vista is there. I
would also recommed formatting the hard drive with ntfs.
 
Thanks, I spoke by phone to Compaq's Service Mexico, they'll sendme the
Recovery kit CD's for my pc, because I can't use the recovery program that
came with my computer when it was new (I haven't acces to it, Compq's
Technician tellme that Windows Vista nullified the partition for Recovery, I
didn't create the Recovery CD's myself :( when it was new) I want uninstall
Vista because I have problems with Vista, sometimes freeze my pc in the
shutting down or when I'm running Vista whithout any reason, thanks for your
help
