I am having some issues with Internet Explorer and I would like to Uninstall
and Reinstall Windows XP Service Pack2. It does not appear in the control
panel add/remove programs window and i tried to RUN
c:\windows\$NtServicePackUninstall$\spuninst\spuninst.exe as described in
article 87530 but it could not be found. Is there any other way to safely
remove this and reinstall it?

There are two recent hotfixes that affect IE in a negative way, perhaps your
problem is related to one of those instead of SP2? what is the issue you are
having.

If you did not elect to save the install files for SP2 when it was being
installed you are out of luck in removing it,unless it was a recent install
then maybe a system restore will remove it.

Start/Control Panel/Add or Remove Programs/be sure that you check mark the
box "Show updates" at the top/if the entry is still listed [it had a life of
six months, if my memory is correct] you will find it by scrolling toward
the bottom of the list.
