uninstall / reinstall msn messenger

i needed to reinstall msn messenger so used the following
in run to do it
RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%
\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove

now i vant install any ver above 4.7 installation stops
and i get an error message stopping me from installing

andone help on this

This uninstalls Windows Messenger 4.x, it does not have any effect on MSN Messenger or
Windows Messenger 5.

What version are you attempting to reinstall and what error message are you seeing? If
you're trying simply reinstall from Add/Remove Windows Components, be aware that this
functionality does not reinstall Messenger.

If you wish to have Windows Messenger 4.7 back, you can do so by downloading this:
