Uninstall Problem

R

R W Stewart

When trying to uninstall Norton (which is not working), I get message that
"setup has stopped working". After reviewing comments of others on this
subject I installed Advanced Uninstall Pro. When I ran this program to
uninstall Norton, I got message "This application has failed to start because
cclU.dll was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem".

I am a relative neophyte with computers and I don't know how to proceed.
Can anyone help me?

Have you tried using the Norton removal Tool? See:

Once you have removed Norton don't even think of re-installing it. Norton
products are not something I recommend.
