Uninstall Novell Client

Thomas

I installed Novell Client 4.83 to connect to a Novell
Network. Now I can only get a Novell Logon Screen. I
just want the windows logon to be displayed. How do I can
get logon screen that is displayed or just completely
uninstall the novell client. It does not appear under add
or remove software under the control panel.

Thanks.

Look in your Network and Dialup Connections - select Local Area Connection
then properties. See Novell Client listed ? - Select it and then click on
Uninstall.

Copy the following text and paste into Notepad, save as MSGINA.REG, then
double click it to merge into the registry:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon]
"GinaDLL"="MSGINA.DLL"

That will make the Windows logon default without having to remove the
Novell client in case you still ned to be able to login to Novell. Then
to login to Novell right click the red N in systray or Programs / Novell
/Novell Login.
